Mudras are symbolic hand gestures used in yoga and meditation. These gestures are believed to link the yogi to the universal cosmic energy, to help mind, body, and spirit achieve balance. Each mudra has its own purpose and effect on the body. Mudras are an ancient practice, having first appeared in centuries-old Sanskrit texts.
Through regular practice, mudras can help enhance your yoga and pranayama routine, balance your chakras, and help you awaken your Kundalini energy.
