Sahaja Yoga
Sahaja yoga is a style of meditation intended to bring about a state of self-realization. Developed in 1970 by Shri Mataji Nirmala Dev, this form of meditation awakens kundalini energy within the body, and channels it through the chakras to achieve enlightenment. Sahaja yoga is an internal practice, in that it does not involve traditional yoga poses.
Sahaja yoga taps into the subtle system of chakras located within the body, awakening each one, purifying it, and balancing it. A sahaja yoga meditation can energize your kundalini energy to produce an awakening that is experienced as a peaceful, quiet, thoughtless state. Anyone can do a sahaja yoga meditation, and there are numerous benefits that come with regular practice.
