Meditation in yoga is quite simply the act of quieting your mind. It’s been practiced for thousands of years by a wide variety of cultures and religions throughout the world. There are numerous ways in which you can meditate, but they all involve bringing your attention to your awareness and freeing your mind from distractions.
In a meditation yoga practice, the aim is to allow yourself to observe the mind with awareness and stillness. Through regular practice, meditation can help you achieve a state of inner tranquility and oneness. It can also promote a long list of other benefits that you should know about.
