Fusion Yoga
Fusion yoga is a style of practice that combines yoga with another form of exercise. You’ll often find fusion style yoga classes that feature a combination of yoga and pilates, yoga and HIIT, yoga and barre, yoga and dance, or yoga and spin. Fusion yoga can also be a mix of different types of yoga. An example would be hot power yoga fusion.
A typical fusion yoga class will include a warm-up, then proceed with a portion devoted to exercise, followed by a portion devoted to yoga stretching. Fusion yoga classes give students a balanced workout that typically involves aerobic and/or strength training, plus the stretching and mindfulness of a yoga class.
