Yoga as Exercise
While the traditional practice of yoga is centuries old, it also provides a great way to give your body some exercise. Yoga asanas, or postures, are designed to work and tone your muscles, improve balance and flexibility, and give your mind some much needed respite. Yoga exercises are also customizable to every body type, making it something everyone can do.
It’s easy to get started exercising with yoga. Anyone can take a yoga class, even beginners! There are many types of yoga to choose from, making it an approachable way to lose weight for any body type.
