We posted a bit of history as a part of our celebration last year and feel it’s important to relay it again! The first International Yoga Day was celebrated around the world on June 21, 2015. After the idea was presented by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in his speech to the United Nations General Assembly in 2014, International Yoga Day was made into a formal proposal and adopted by the UN.
It was an exciting day! Over 35,000 people celebrated the first International Yoga Day!
With your health and wellness in mind, we invite you to celebrate International Yoga Day 2023 with MyYogaTeacher for FREE!
