thanks Anirudh was waiting for this channel. I got checked and saw my hdl/ldl levels were high. So thought shedding those extra pounds would help. I have started doing intermittent fasting with walking. Its been about 2 months, and weight’s slowly inching down. I was reading on nutraceuticals, how is omega-3 fish oil vs from flaxseed ?

            Hi Pankaj Soni

Yes, omega-3 helps with cholesterol levels. The other thing you can include in your diet is fiber rich foods like more of vegetables, whole grains and lentils.

Meenu Preethi Balaji I currently weigh 10 kilos more than what the BMI tells me I should… Is BMI a good indicator for this or should I use a different method to figure this out? Also, what are 2 quick things I can incorporate into my diet beginning today to consume lesser calories?

Anirudh BMI is one of the indicators of health, but it doesn’t give you the whole picture, like your metabolic health, fat and muscle mass.

Two things to reduce your calories would be:

                    1. Increase the servings of vegetables. They are rich in fibre, lower in calories and great for fat loss.
                    2. Check the quantity of oil used in a month. Cutting back on that makes a big difference.
