8.4K views · 13K reactions | 🚶‍♂️ The Life-Changing Power of a Daily Walk If you commit to walking every day — especially in nature — within a year, your life can look completely different. 🌿 What the research shows (Japan’s studies on “forest bathing”): • Walking in nature balances the sympathetic + parasympathetic nervous systems • Protects the brain from the harmful effects of excess cortisol • Supports mental clarity, calm, and emotional resilience 🧠 Important reminder: Cortisol isn’t inherently bad — like all hormones, it has a purpose. But too much, for too long, creates wear and tear on the body and mind. A simple daily walk helps bring that balance back. 📌 Bottom line: One of the most underrated medicines is right outside your door. 🗣️ Speaker: @jillianteta 🎵 Music: Emile Mosseri - Jacob and the Stone 🎬 Video: @tombilyeu (YouTube) Contact us for credit or removal requests (no copyright intended) ©️ All rights and credits reserved to the respective owner(s). | BioPulse

140 plus days of walking. It’s a habit for sure and so much peace is felt on the walks, grounding it all. 😎🎈🙏🏻

Great job! Hope the 20-day challenge helped motivate you. I started walking 7–8k steps daily from January. We’ll be launching more such challenges soon.

Namaste everyone… I hear from many that you’d like to continue to walk and have a group that encourages you!!! I’ve set myself a tangible goal for Nov 22: The Cauvery River Trail. I remember getting really fit when I had a 10K I was prepping for earlier … so here I go again. I’ve made myself a vision board picture with chatGPT’s help, broken down the 10K goal into the months between now and then, and made a plan for stamina AND strength. who’d like to join me. Pick any goal you want… and we’ll encourage each other to move on purpose (that’s what I mentally engraved on the hypnotic band I wore back when I cracked it the first time) .

I’ve been able to walk every day since the challenge. My ultimate goal is 8k steps and I usually go above this, weather permitting of course. Lots of things unfold while walking and many kind souls I’ve met along the way
