Reviews of group classes

Suma it was in “Kriya, Pranayama and Meditation” and it was a class with a substitute teacher. I checked just now and it’s gone again

Jitendra I have noticed previously that whenever I have written a review of less than 5 stars, it has never been published, as I have mentioned before. I have taken probably 2000 classes and probably submitted over 1000 reviews, the vast majority of which have been completely positive, with only maybe 3 or 4 exceptions. I recently messaged you on the subject on the other chat, but I don’t think you’ve seen the message.

Hi Angela Broadbent , thanks for bringing this up. As a matter of fact, we do show all reviews with less than 5 stars. There was an issue and it was fixed a couple of weeks ago, if you don’t see your review immediately that would be because the pages are cached for a couple of hours for faster response.
We show recent 8 reviews on all group class pages, your last review less than 5 stars was published on 23rd October on https://myyogateacher.com/group-classes/kriya-pranayama-and-meditation-by-rohan. We can see your review on 31st Oct here but not the one from 23rd October as there are other reviews in recent 8 received on this class.

I understand the system whereby the newest review replaces the oldest one, but as mine took so long to appear and went into date order of when it was written rather than going to the top of the list, after a couple of days it was replaced by more recent ones rather than being there for a week or longer. Finally, in case anyone is wondering, this review is obviously not for one of Rohan’s classes taken by Rohan himself.

Thanks for sharing this Angela. I see there are 4 reviews on this group class since 23rd October. One from 23rd October with 4 star rating, another on 25th October with 5 star rating, another on 30th October with 5 star rating and the last one from 31st October with 5 star rating.
We really appreciate the love you share in these feedbacks. I am sure you have noticed something we might have missed. We will check on this more and address the issue on priority.

My last two reviews ( one for Trupti, one for Gomati ) have not appeared. I am wondering whether this is due to the fact that I submitted them via “past sessions”, “rate sessions” , rather than via the bell icon top right of screen. In 5 years, the process for submitting reviews has never been satisfactory as it keeps changing without warning.
When I look at reviews, all recent reviews are dated 3rd December 2025 ?! Regardless of when they were written or when they were for.
I haven’t reviewed any of Rohan’s recently, as he is taking a break from my usual class so I’m doing the recordings. In any case, reviews for Kriya, Pranayama and Meditation aren’t a lot of help as, unless the reviewer mentions the name of the teacher, readers have no way of telling which class they are for. As I have mentioned before.
Everyone’s perseverance has a limit; I have reached mine and will not (along with the majority of other students) be writing any more reviews. -

Hi Angela Broadbent , thanks for highlighting this issue, it was indeed a tech issue and fix was rolled out couple of days ago. We see that your reviews are present on the right classes now.

Extremely disappointed. They replaced a great teacher with zero regard for loyal students.I am incredibly frustrated with MyYogaTeacher. They suddenly removed an amazing instructor whom many of us had been practicing with regularly for 2–3 years. This change was made without any warning, student polls, or feedback requests. Despite multiple students repeatedly begging for this teacher’s return, customer service flatly denied us.The substitute they hired is completely unengaged. She has zero interest in the students, never corrects anyone’s posture, and just goes through the motions. Even with only 6–7 students in class, she provides no feedback—you could sit there doing nothing, and she wouldn’t even care to notice. It feels like a cheap cost-cutting move.I tried to adapt and gave this new instructor months to work out, but the quality is just not there. When I finally reached out to customer service to explain the situation, I was told straight away that nothing could be done. I already paid for a yearly membership and now feel completely trapped paying for a subpar experience.

Jyoti I’m not sure which teacher you’re talking about, but you have to remember this :
Several experienced teachers have left the platform and this was their choice. They left because they were dissatisfied, like anyone would do who was dissatisfied with their employment. I know I was devastated because a certain teacher left, as were others. However, he left for a better opportunity, I am sure would never come back, and my only consolation is that he appears to be happy and successful in his new venture. -
