Discriminatory pricing structure

So I think yours is a bit more expensive than mine due to paying monthly.To clarify, I’ve just checked again and the 3 monthly payment now is only £17 a month for the first 3 months, BUT it then goes to £23 a month thereafter so still cheaper than mine at £29.19, when I’ve paid for a full year up front.

As a long-time and highly valued member of the community, we’ll apply a credit to your next renewal equal to the amount you overpaid due to the price change.

Jitendra Gupta It’s actually a bigger surprise to me that UK pricing even existed, as every payment I have ever made has been in US dollars, the last one being $509 at rate 0.745500 GBP.
It also seems that on the UK page, the only payment options now are monthly or 3 monthly and on the US page there only seems to be a 3 monthly option ? -

Jitendra Gupta TBH I’m not bothered about the money. I have time to do a lot of classes, so for me it’s great value.
But it’s always nice to feel you’re being treated fairly, and it’s always nice when changes are communicated, and this could definitely be improved. Eg some of my friends don’t know how to join this community chat and many people are unaware of its existence.
I know you are growing the membership, I’ve seen pricing for South Africa, Europe, Australia, probably more. I didn’t look at every country.
Maybe an onboarding email for new students with optional idiot sheets about how to do things, for old people, non tech people and even those whose English isn’t amazing, could save some problems later and even improve retention. Or even idiot sheets on web page and app on how to do things which are FAQs. -

At the start of MYT during Covid, there was the Website that had a chat feature and members on the page during class. Now it’’s only an App, which doesn’t offer those features. On my iPad, I can click on the bottom of the page to see some members in the class. This is a change from the Website feature. I preferred the Website.

Bonnie Oh on my windows laptop when I am doing a class, I can see all the people in my class across the top of the screen and there’s a chat down at the bottom. I think these are features of Zoom rather than to do with MYT. A lot of people do use iPad, I wonder whether they have the same experience as you

I had those features in the past.
I can see people in the class if I click on an x by my screen. They appear at the bottom, and I have to scroll to see everyone.

I might be completely wrong here, but I was under the impression that it was the chat which is part of Zoom itself which Bonnie thinks she has lost, which enables us to ask questions during the session. Most people I know are aware of the group chats you have so clearly indicated, but I think that Zoom itself has had updates maybe a few months ago and it does behave slightly differently for me also, although I do still have the chat at the bottom.

I just checked during my last class and the chat feature is missing from Zoom. This has happened before, people complained and it got reinstated.
