I really enjoy my yoga classes - the teachers are knowledgeable, supportive, and skilled. The class structure works well, and I always feel guided and encouraged.
What I like: The quality of teaching and supportive environment.
What can be improved: Adding access to a nutritionist would be very helpful, since individual needs often go beyond yoga practice.
Pet peeves: Nutrition and lifestyle questions sometimes remain unanswered.
Recordings: They are useful, but easier navigation or categorization would make them even better.
What’s next: I’d love to hear more about upcoming workshops and sessions.Deepa J Thank you for sharing your feedback.
We have Meenu Preethi Balaji ( Meenu Balaji) who is a certified Nutritionist on the platform. We just launched a group class with her on the platform. You can choose to join that or connect with her by booking a 1on1 session. We send out emails every month to let everyone know about our free events. Can you please let me know if you get these emails?

What do you like? I like being able to get personal feedback… and have classes tailored to some restrictions I have… I personally like getting to know my teacher and meeting with the same one.
What can we do better? I have written into customer care and I can see the message was read but didn’t get a response .
What are your pet peeves? When I first started I had to go thru several teachers before I found someone who consistently showed up. And didn’t chronically cancel
What do you think of the new changes to recordings? Better than the old

I am unable to join Jitendra’s class in person for feedback as I will be traveling to and from work. But I appreciate having this offline option—it gives me a chance to share my thoughts.
My Journey with MYT:
I truly enjoy being part of MYT. My journey began during the COVID lockdown in March 2020. Since then, I’ve learned so much—from physical postures to the Yoga Sutras, pranayama, and advanced breathing techniques. The encouragement from teachers on this platform has been invaluable and even inspired me to complete my 900-hour teacher training. What I Like About MYT:
The teachers are the heart of MYT. They make this platform truly special. Life is full of changes, but no matter how my day goes, I just show up, and I always leave with more physical energy and mental relaxation. What can we do better:
There’s room for significant improvement. While I’ve shared feedback before, unfortunately, little action has been taken compared to earlier days when feedback was valued. Many of our requests and complaints haven’t been addressed. It sometimes feels as if MYT assumes that because the teachers are excellent and students love them, no real action or platform improvements are necessary. For example:
- Special sessions like 108 Sun Salutations for Yoga Day are no longer celebrated meaningfully.
- If we miss a regular class, there’s no immediate replacement. Recordings are often delayed by 2–3 days.
- We were told that small group classes would launch at the end of 2022, but instead, prices increased without explanation.
- No new class announcements, workshops, or engaging events on special days.
- Our voices often go unanswered.
I tried enrolling in other platforms, but ultimately, I returned because of the outstanding teachers here—not because others were bad, but because MYT’s teachers are exceptional.
I’m glad that at least now, you’re asking for our voices to be heard.
What are your pet peeves:
Things change constantly, and not always for the better. While I have a couple of favorite classes that I try to attend Monica class consistently, balancing health and family sometimes makes this challenging.Monica Morning class: Her classes are incredible—always full of surprises. I don’t worry about physical strength, flexibility, relaxation, or even advanced poses when I attend her sessions. With her guidance and encouragement, I’ve progressed into inversions and regularly book 1-1 sessions with her. I truly owe much of my growth to her.
Neelmani Morning Class: An excellent guide, she helps refine postures with subtle but impactful tips that often go unnoticed until you realize how much you’ve improved.
Stuti Evening Class: Her evening classes are my therapy. On stressful or exhausting days, her sessions leave me feeling refreshed, like Tylenol for the mind and body. They even helped me overcome sciatica and joint pain without needing physiotherapy.
Sujit Evening Class: His Ashtanga Yoga classes are magical.
Roshan (KPM): His classes have been transformative for both body and mind, and I attend them regularly.
However, class timings remain a challenge. I’ve requested more classes focused on physical strength as well as KPM-style sessions for mental energy, but MYT has not acted on this.
New changes to recordings:
Regarding the new recording changes—I honestly don’t care much about how they look; I just want them to be organized, searchable, and available immediately after class. Currently, the delay makes them less useful.Want to learn what is coming up:
Of course, I want to know what’s coming up—whether it’s new workshops, special events, or innovative features. That excitement is part of what keeps us connected. In short: MYT’s strength lies in its teachers. They’re the reason many of us stay despite frustrations with the platform. If MYT could truly listen to its students, act on feedback, and bring back innovation, it would be unstoppable.
