MyYogaTeacher Product Updates

I am replying to this post on web page, but I can’t see how to access this chat on the app. As most people are very often on their phones rather than laptop, especially when they are out, to me it is important that the user experience on webpage and app should be similar. And confusing for old people like me when they are not lol.
Angela Broadbent This community page is currently not accessible through the MyYogaTeacher app. You can still access this on your phone browser by simply going to - myyogateacher.com/community.

Web offers the best experience with all the bells & whistles.Thank you. Also, as I have mentioned before, when you are booking a class on the app, the filter by class type still doesn’t work.

Anirudh What is the plan to getting this working on our app?

I use my IPad, and the chat is not available. Also the group members are only available in small squares on the bottom of the screen. The Website access is not available at all anymore.
Bonnie, MYT removed the chat icon from zoom directly. Moving foward, there will be no chat icon on ipad and iphone. it works only on browser, which is not going to help the students who are using ipad and iphone. i use my ipad and iphone for meditation sessions. if you want to convery any message to the teacher, you will have to wave your hand and unmute yourself and then speak with the teacher and raise your concerns, which is going to be disturbances to the other students. For an example, if the teacher is demoying, she needs to stop the demo and come address our concerns and until then other students will be looking at us and they cannot continue the posures and they are going to get upset with the student for interrupting. i wish they bring back the chat icon

Sandy Sandy and Bonnie - the Zoom chat disappeared from the webpage as well. I’m not sure whether it was done intentionally or not, this is going back weeks. I did complain and it reappeared on my laptop, but I wasn’t aware that people on Ipad etc still couldn’t see it. I think they will reinstate it for everyone in due course as obviously it is very essential.
My original post saying the chat doesn’t appear on the app wasn’t talking about the Zoom chat in class, it was talking about this actual community forum.
