What you will learn

Welcome to "The Art of Inversions", a comprehensive workshop designed to help you unlock the power and grace of inversions.

Inversions, where your body is upside down or inverted, offer numerous physical and mental benefits, from improving circulation and lymphatic drainage to boosting confidence and mental clarity.

Throughout the workshop, participants will be guided through a comprehensive series of preparatory exercises, alignment techniques, and progression sequences tailored to each inversion.

Who is this for: All Levels

Whether you're a seasoned yogi looking to refine your practice or a beginner eager to conquer your fears, this workshop offers something for every level.

About the workshop:

This workshop will cover 4 Inversions - Here's a brief introduction to each of them:

Shoulder Stand (Sarvangasana): Discover the beauty and strength within as we delve into the majestic Shoulder Stand. This posture not only stimulates the thyroid gland and improves metabolism but also enhances circulation, promoting a sense of rejuvenation and vitality.

Head Stand (Sirsasana): Elevate your practice both physically and mentally as we explore the regal Head Stand. Often referred to as the 'King of Asanas'. Head Stand offers a profound opportunity for balance, focus, and inner calm.

Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Stand): This inversion, also known as the Feathered Peacock Pose, is a powerful arm balance that strengthens the shoulders, arms, and core. It requires a strong foundation in basic yoga poses and arm balances.

Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand): Also known as the Handstand or

Downward-Facing Tree Pose, this inversion is an advanced balance pose that strengthens the arms, shoulders, and core. It requires a solid understanding of body alignment, breath control, and mental focus.

We will delve into the nuances of each inversion, breaking down the mechanics of proper alignment, weight distribution, and breath control. Through mindful practice and supportive guidance, you will learn to cultivate stability, grace, and resilience in each pose.

Props required:

  • Yoga blocks
  • Yoga straps (minimum 10 inch)
