What you will learn

What Is an MBWE Program?

Mindfulness-Based Wellbeing Enhancement (MBWE) is a hybrid of Mindfulness Based-Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based-Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), integrated with the intentions of Positive Psychology.

This eight-week course would help you to improve well-being, be happy, reduce stress and anxiety, and deal with other life challenges. Countless participants have reported being happier and felt less judgmental and critical of themselves and consequently of others.


What can one expect?

The sessions would teach authentic and secular Mindfulness practices with the intention of Positive Psychology. In keeping with the first generation of evidence-based Mindfulness programs, it includes the core mindfulness meditation practices, light stretching/movements, interactive dialogues and home experiments.

The workshop consists of eight x 2.5-hour sessions and a half-day mindfulness retreat with a certified mindfulness teacher (CMT-P) that would help integrate mindfulness into your life.

This course is equally suitable for all beginners as well as mindfulness practitioners.


A little more about the workshop:

For optimal participation, it is recommended to use a laptop or tablet rather than a mobile device. During the session, participants will primarily sit on a chair, but they will be directed to use a yoga mat for specific mindfulness practices.

The sessions do not demand for the participants to remain seated on the mat for the entire 2.5 hours; rather, sitting on a table and chair is preferable to begin with.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants would satisfy one of the pre-requisites for enrolling into the IMTA Accredited Mindfulness Teacher Training Program.


 Requirements of the workshop:


  1. A laptop/Tablet with a stable internet connection
  2. Yoga Mat
  3. The camera has to be mandatorily kept on for all Sessions.
  4. For successful completion and a certificate, 80% attendance is required. In the event of having to miss a class, a one-on-one call will be scheduled to cover what is missed.
  5. A Registration form and Consent form will be shared with you via email upon registration to this workshop. This is to ensure that participants are well suited for the programme, with no contra-indicatory limitations with regards to the workshop. In the rare event that this workshop may be contra-indicatory to your prevailing health conditions, you will be notified of it and the registration fee will be refunded to you.


 Props needed (General or in specific sessions)


Cushion, Towel, Yoga blocks - if required for supporting the seated posture.


This 9-session program, conducted over 8 weeks, facilitates a comprehensive understanding of the happiness paradigm. Participants are empowered to proactively enhance their wellbeing, equipping them with the tools and insights needed to navigate life's challenges and opportunities!
